“Service was great except for the original check-in person was horribly rude and couldn't pass me off to the next person quick enough. Otherwise absolutely everyone was so impressively nice . Facilities are fantastic. Shy and Brad at Lava's are refreshingly nice. It's nice when they go that extra mile and you can joke and visit with them. Facilities are awesome! Back pool by the villas is great.”

“I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Online reviews prepared me for an outdated hotel but I disagree, rooms were cleaned daily and were well appointed and comfortable. The lava cafe restaurant by the pool was great for the price and the beach, while it seems a bit small, is very clean and fun to swim the waves in. My friend and I rentes a car to travel around the island but oftwn ended up coming back to this beach bc it was really nice to swim in. Would definitely stay here again, but I would also mention that Poipu is strictly a tourist town so the food costs are high and the amenities are very Americanized.”

“The Sheraton on Kauai was a great place to stay. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with a kitchen. The room was very spacious and clean. It was in a great location and there were plenty of opportunities for dining out and shopping all within 15 minutes.”

“Honestly, this is a great value. No, it’s not that luxurious, but it’s practical for a family with small kids. It has washer/dryer and kitchen. The shower pressure was great. The rooms were on the small side and decorated 2005 style but in good condition and housekeeping kept it VERY clean. Grounds were well kept and peaceful. It was a relaxing vibe all around. Plus, you are able to use all the resort amenities with beachfront access.”

“My Husband and I came here for our Honeymoon. We stayed on the villa side in a studio with washer/dryer, and kitchenette. Shy at Lava’s was absolutely amazing, friendly, kind and personable. Grace at check in was very helpful, as well as the concierge who helped us to book our helicopter tour (Brittany?). The property is very nice, well kept, the bell men are kind, beach front access is great and there are a lot of nearby places/walking distance. We love the island and can’t wait to come back! The only complaint I do have was we did have to ask for them to change our comforter out as it was covered in dirt - they did make it right immediately but I felt as if they The front desk lady Sissy looks miserable and is by means not kind at all.”
